The WAY Forward | Edition 03 | October 26, 2026
By Geoffrey C. Arrobio, Executive Director, WAY Capital

Treasuries rallied again last week as markets pivoted from “risk on” to “risk off.” The 5-year settled at 4.812% and the 10-year at ~5%. This week, all eyes are on the FOMC, with the market anticipating a neutral stance and no rate change.

In this week’s edition of The WAY Forward, Geoffrey Arrobio covers:

  • What the market is pricing in for the Fed’s December meeting
  • Why gold-backed Treasury bonds could be on the table in 2027
  • Why flat U.S. electrical capacity is a problem, and what nuclear has to do with it
  • What the uranium miners chart is saying
  • This week’s Capital Markets Rate Sheet
